A condo had badly stained parking garage. The cement surface had never been sealed. Typical (3K – 4K PSI) pressure washing equipment would not make any impact on these types of stains. National Sealing Co. was selected to clean this area due to our advanced cleaning equipment. The equipment used produces 7K – 8K PSI.

A person in Shrevport, LA had recently purchased a home. There was ceramic tiles around pool, which was very slippery when wet. National Sealing was tapped to mobilize to Shreveport to apply our durable non slip coating process & nano non slip beads.
Common sealers typically will not adhere to ceramic tile. Or coating process is a multi-component formula with hardeners that results in durable, long lasting slip protection. Our process is applied by our trained professionals and is not sold. We’ve witnessed sealer processes that combine sealer with shaved plastic or ‘shark grip’ particles. This process is good – however only lasts about 6 months. The tops of the imbedded plastic wears, and you’re left with only a ‘sealed’ surface. This actually compounds the issue and actually makes the surface even more slippery. Our coating process combines small glass beads that are broadcast onto the surface and then ‘locked in’ with a top coat. The result is not only a durable coating, but a durable non slip aggregate as well.
Currently we know of no other process that will match the durability and longevity of the coating process combined with our anti slip application.
A person had just installed a new travertine pool deck. They wanted to preserve the deck by sealing, and also bring out the natural beauty of the stone. However a topical sealer would make the deck very slippery, and there would be children running around the deck. A durable non slip application for travertine stone require two components. First, what is the product being used to adhere to the surface. If a sealer is used, sealers are temporary and have to be reapplied annually. We apply our durable, multi-component coating for long lasting results.
The second part of the equation is; what is used as the anti slip media. Most will use a shark-type product readily available or even play sand. These products work, however, they are VERY brittle and soft, and do not last long. We have specialty nano beads specifically manufactured for National Sealing.

The chemical process steals an electron from the substrate to become one with the original surface.
Any product that just creates a mechanical bond must be re-applied as that bond is broken by wear as well as Ultra Violet conditions.
This coating process is highly resistant to chemicals, and abrasion, which actually extends the life of the original surface and protects the surface from premature wear.

We first apply a ‘tack’ layer with our coating, we then broadcast durable glass beads specifically manufactured for National Sealing for this application. We then ‘sandwich’ this non slip layer with a top coat of our durable three part coating product. This results in a soft bumpy feel. Although slip tests on the coating alone surpass the national slip coefficient requirements, with the addition of our anti slip glass media, the resulting slip coefficient far exceeds the ability of current measuring devices.
Don’t make the mistake of sealing a surface, and adding over-the-counter anti slip particles or sand. In a very short period of time, the top of the embedded sand wears down leaving you with just the sealer, and a surface that is even more slippery. Our beads are manufactured to be as durable as the coating which holds the media.
