Tropical Storm Arlene, the first named storm of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season, formed Friday afternoon in the Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center said.
Forecasts from the hurricane center said the storm is expected to remain offshore and have only minimal impact in Florida or any land area as it meanders south in the Gulf.

This was the entrance to a Boca Raton residential development. The pavers were not sealed on a consistent basis and were badly faded. Pavers must be sealed on a regular basis to prevent paver fading and may need staining if the color fades. At this Boca Raton location, the color of the pavers was completely washed out. So before any paver sealing took place, the pavers required re-dying to reset the color of the pavers.
Fading of pavers is an unfortunate result when the pavers are not sealed on a regular basis. Currently, many of properties across the country are now faced with the dilemma of how to restore the pavers without having to replace them.
In the past, some properties tried to stain or paint pavers. The result was that the paint would ‘lift’ from the hot tires. This just created another maintenance issue not to mention the very cheap an unnatural appearance it gave the property, and more often that not, this is the entrance to the property. First impressions are so important, so those pavers need to look bright and clean!
We have developed a penetrating paver dyeing process or coloring process for faded pavers. We match the original dyes used to color the pavers and can apply our process while keeping the personality of the various medley of colors intact. Our re-dying paver process restores life back to tired, faded pavers and is a very economical solution versus the alternative of starting over.
National Sealing Co is the largest paver sealer in the country with over two million square feet of pavers protected. We recognized a need to develop a coloring process for properties that had not protected the pavers for various reasons.
Our flagship coating process is a durable three-part coating process. Our process differs from conventional sealers. Of course, we offer sealing services as well, our coating is more durable and lasts longer than sealer. The difference is; all sealers are mono-component, meaning ALL sealers are basically applied by just pouring out of the container and will typically last 1-1.5 yrs. Our multi-component coating is mixed on site and must be applied within a certain time frame. We’re seeing results of 4-7 years+ with our multi-component coating depending upon the surface and conditions.

A trip to Pine Glades Lake in the Everglades National Park at sunset
We had a photo session out in the Everglades last night and the sunset was spectacular! We knew the mosquitoes were going to be intense so tried the Thermacell product – once it started up – it worked like a champ! I also had netting on and that really worked too. The colors and hues were just incredible and that reflection from the still water just enhanced the whole image! Everglades National Park, Canon 5DM4, 16-35mm F/2.8L USM II
