The entire program is 3 years if a student wish to attain the highest level of certification possible, Master’s in Medical Qigong. There are 3 levels of certification from the International Institute of Medical Qigong that occur after successful completion of each year:
- Medical Qigong Practitioner MQP (year 1)
- Medical Qigong Therapist MQT (year 2)
- Master’s in Medical Qigong MMQ (year 3)
The curriculum has been standardized by Dr Jerry Johnson, the founder of the International Institute of Medical Qigong. Under special circumstances, some classes may be taken without the prior class (although certification requires that all classes are eventually attended).
In the event of missed time due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be able to make-up the time via private sessions.
